American Quilter's SocietyThe American Quilter's Society is acting as a repository for quilts to be donated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Quilts will be received at their Paducah, KY warehouse, then shipped out to disaster areas as requested by aid groups. Please send completed bed quilts and baby quilts. Do not send quilting supplies, wallhangings, or unfinished quilts. For those wishing to send monetary assistance, AQS suggests donating money to NOVA (National Organization for Victim Assistance), an organization which provides long-term assistance on many levels.
