Candle at the Crossroads

This quilt is named "Candle at the Crossroads." It is a basic log cabin pattern, with the squares positioned to show the cross. The yellow center of a log cabin quilt signifies a candle in the window and was used in the Underground Railroad to show that this was a safe house. This quilt covers a twin size bed nicely. I gave it to Paula to give to her daughter's in-laws as a going-away present. Posted by Picasa
