Welcome to the website for Handmaiden Quilts. This is a small ministry crafting one-of-a-kind quality quilts for the glory of God. I specialize in smallish quilts, and love making quilts for dogs and cats. They are SO appreciative of a cozy place to lay thier little heads! May I make one for you? A bit about me: I am a published author and part-time proofreader. I am passionate about animal welfare and social justice issues.. I have been a Weight Watcher leader, a quiltmaker, a massage therapist and a pharmacy technician. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, traveling, my dog, photography and a little tv. I have 2 daughters, 2 stepsons, and 7 grandchildren. I have worked as a volunteer fire-fighter, a waitress, a sexual assault and domestic violence counselor, a CPR and First Aid instructor, a keypunch operator, emergency medical technician, and a volunteer prison visitor.
