A bit about me: I am a published author and part-time proofreader. I am passionate about animal welfare and social justice issues.. I have been a Weight Watcher leader, a quiltmaker, a massage therapist and a pharmacy technician. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, traveling, my dog, photography and a little tv. I have 2 daughters, 2 stepsons, and 7 grandchildren. I have worked as a volunteer fire-fighter, a waitress, a sexual assault and domestic violence counselor, a CPR and First Aid instructor, a keypunch operator, emergency medical technician, and a volunteer prison visitor.
Here's a photo of Jasper on the quilt I made for my dogs. Jasper is a Beagle/Jack Russell mix, so you can get an idea of the size of the quilt. I keep the quilt in my office because he likes to come in and keep me company. Isn't he a handsome boy?
