Welcome to the website for Handmaiden Quilts. This is a small ministry crafting one-of-a-kind quality quilts for the glory of God. A bit about me: I am a published author and part-time proofreader. I am passionate about animal welfare and social justice issues.. I have been a Weight Watcher leader, a quiltmaker, a massage therapist and a pharmacy technician. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, traveling, my dog, photography and a little tv. I have 2 daughters, 2 stepsons, and 7 grandchildren. I have worked as a volunteer fire-fighter, a waitress, a sexual assault and domestic violence counselor, a CPR and First Aid instructor, a keypunch operator, emergency medical technician, and a volunteer prison visitor.

"Quilted tablecloth" at the fair. Second place ribbon.
"Scrappy Critters" at the fair. First place ribbon, first level. Yippee!! This quilt was donated to PVS (Prisoner Visitation and Support) for the auction at their annual workshop and fetched a very satisfying $275.

"Scrappy Critters" Block size 7 1/2", Quilt size 66"x66". This quilt won a First Place ribbon at the Madison County Fair, August, 2005. Donated to PVS (Prisoner Visitation and Support) for the auction at their annual workshop in October 2005. It fetched a very satisfying $275!
