Prayer Quilt. Quilt measures 30 inches by 40 inches. The leaves on the green fabric remind us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. The vines in the red and white fabric remind us that He is the vine and we are the branches. The pillow effect of the quilting reminds us of God's comfort. The quilt has two layers of thick batting throughout, except for four layers of batting at the foot of the cross for one's knees, as this quilt is designed to be used on the floor as you kneel in prayer before God. Green is the color of growth and renewal. White is for purity, hope and strength, and red is for the saving blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. At the center of the quilt is a gold heart, to remind us that we are always in His heart. Commissioned by Lydia; designed and crafted with prayer by me. Posted by Picasa
